Check whichever sicker you have to see if it has been tampered with. If the sticker has been tampered with or if there is no sticker then we have to assume that the unit has been opened previously.2 - The back of the Xbox 360 has 7 notches that require the correct tools to open the Xbox 360, generally if the unit has not been opened by a professional the correct tool would not have been used and these notches will show damage. If damaged, then we have to assume that the unit has been previously opened.3 - Remove the Xbox 360 face plate by using your fingers and inserting them into the USB door and then pull the face plate off.You should now see a silver strip that connects the DVD player to the main frame of the Xbox 360, if the silver strip has been damaged, not there or tampered with, then we have to assume that the unit has been previously opened.Important Information relating to your Xbox 360 repairAlways check with Microsoft first to see if your Xbox 360 is still in warranty and can be repaired free of charge via them.Warning, once your Xbox 360 has been opened by anyone apart from Microsoft, any warranty still left on the unit will become void.Aranea Creations Ltd does not take any responsibility for any further damage caused to your Xbox 360 during the repair process.GuaranteeDue to possible Xbox 360 design and development faults, it is unfortunately impossible to issue a money back guarantee on Xbox 360 repairs. There is however a 28 day repair attempt guarantee on all Xbox 360 repairs, unless otherwise stated (maximum of 3 attempts). This guarantee is only valid for the specific repair carried out and outlined on the customers receipt. After 28 days have elapsed or if a different fault occurs, a £20.00 repair attempt fee (per issue) will become payable.
